  2. I followed your YouTube on – Kindle Fire HD Stock Amazon OS rom install

How to flash the stock Amazon OS to your kindle Fire HD 7in from recovery

I followed your steps exactly and ran into the following that after I clicked on the zip file this message came up that it
    Failed

    E:Unable to open zip file. Error flashing zip ‘ /sdcard/Download/kfhd7-amazon-os-7.4.3 – STOCK.zip’
    Updating partition details….

And that’s it. Rebooting just brings it back to what was there before I tried it.

    Help!!!!!!!

  3. Hi. I have a Kindle Fire HDX 3rd Generation running 4.5.5.3. I’d like to root it but see that Tower Root won’t work on that version. KingRoot seems like an alternative but from comments on other sites, may not be the best option. Will RootJunky’s tool to root the Kindle Fire HD work on this version of the HDX? Thanks.
