  2. Hello,
Just joined here from the UK.
I really messed up my Moto G XT1033. I unlocked the bootloader & flashed CM11 OK but decided to return the phone to stock but accidently wiped everything. The phone will only switch on when plugged into the mains or the PC. It first just shows a 0% battery. After a while if I unplug it I can get to the bootloader which says battery low(charging) Device is unlocked Status Code 3 & Usb connected, but the PC does not recognise the phone. If I unplug the phone from the PC after a while the screen blanks out & if I press the power button the bootloader unlocked waning screen shows. The phone will not switch off & it takes several attempts to get back to the boot loader screen.
I have tried to download your files but without success.
    Any help would be welcome
    Regards
    Brian

  4. I unlocked my Moto-g so I could load su which I needed to do to install some system software.
When I try and fastboot oem lock it up again I get sst lock error?
I just want to leave it as it is, but lock it up again.

Can I relock the phone without putting the original rom back on?

    • you cant unlock the bootloader because the device doesnt have a MEID or imei the bootloader token contains this things and without them you cant unlock it on motorolas web site. that being said you may still be able to unlock the bootloader with sunshine app and if so then you also might be able to fix the missing MEID but i am not sure on that one. I never mess with that side of the phones

  15. Hi Root Junky! I have exhausted all tips and tricks to unlock a Moto G (XT1040) that what acquired from the Videotron carrier here in Canada. The phone does not ask for a subsidy code when we insert a sim from a different provider. Will we need to reflash the phone with a “generic” firmware?

Thanks a lot in advaqnce for your help.
