  3. Tom, I have a problem with my Gear Live. To see a fastboot devices response, I have previously had to switch from fastboot back to recovery and then back to fastboot. Don’t know why, but that’s the way it has always worked.

Today I (stupidly) flashed 42N which gave a much shorter recovery menu; no entry to re-select fastboot mode. Since bluetooth on 42N doesn’t seem work, I need to go back to 78Y.

So……… I can no longer switch back to fastboot mode from the recovery menu. As a result I can get into fastboot mode, but the PC can’t see the device. Fastboot devices give an empty response. Makes it impossible to fastboot flash the 78Y files.

Since I can’t get past pairing, I doubt if OTA will work either. Any ideas, or am I totally bricked??

  5. Hello, I’ve been trying to restore my watch using your tools. I’m having a bit of an issue though. The watch doesn’t have any bluetooth options whatsoever, so i cant pair it with my phone. I’ve watch your videos and I’m afraid I’m not getting anywhere.
    1. I have the restore tools version 2 and 3. when I run them, after device attached, it gives me nubers then unathorized. I’ve checked the drivers, everything seems to be installed properly, but I can’t the watch to work.
    2. When I try to get the watch on bootloader mode, it say “Ram dump mode =6” the only thing I can do after that is restart it.
Please help, it would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
